Welcome to San Sebastian!

There are many interesting cities worldwide, but none of them has the beauty of Donosti, welcome to San Sebastián! In the Spanish province of Gipuzkoa, it has a population of nearly 200,000 people. Founded in 1180, it must have been a key city due to its strategic location. It began as a fishing and trading port but was nearly destroyed during the Peninsular War (1813), the residents must have recovered from the incident. In the 19th century, it became a luxury destination for Spanish and European royalty, as an example we have María Cristina of Austria, she might have walked through Kontxa Bay and enjoyed “pintxo” cuisine. Nowadays, loads of tourists come to visit the emblematic places of Donosti, for example, you have to go hiking on Mount Urgull and observe the Parisian-like buildings.
